The more I read Aaron Chambers, the more I anticipate his next article.

And I enjoyed this little nugget in his article Saturday:

WELCOME TO THE STATEHOUSE, where another week transpired without legislative leaders and Gov. Rod Blagojevich getting any closer to a deal on a state spending plan. In the week since I covered Madigan's alliance with the GOP -- "the coalition of the willing," as he puts it -- the Five Tops failed to have a single budget meeting.

Why have meetings...who needs a budget anway? Oh, just about 12.4 million people.
